Oversee editorial strategy and multi-platform story workflow for PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Labs (SRL)

Created and launched SRL’s Student Advisory Team: a group of students from across the U.S. who advise SRL on editorial strategy and priorities
Collaborate with SRL staff, student journalists and educators to produce youth-focused stories for PBS NewsHour digitial and broadcast platforms, and other news outlets

- Work with schools around the U.S. to develop the next generation of informed media creators and consumers

- Harrisburg reporter for StateImpact Pennsylvania. The project is a collaboration among four public media entities: WITF in Harrisburg, WHYY in Philadelphia, and WESA and the Allegheny Front in Pittsburgh
- Traveled throughout Pennsylvania covering state policy, energy, and the environment
- Filed radio spots and in-depth feature stories for Pennsylvania NPR stations
- Wrote news stories for StateImpact Pennsylvania website
- Produced online multimedia content: video features, data visualizations, and photos
- Produced documentaries for Pennsylvania PBS member stations
- Co-wrote $652,000 grant to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to expand StateImpact Pennsylvania into Pittsburgh in 2017

- Albany reporter for the Innovation Trail, a collaborative project among six public media stations covering the economy and technology in upstate New York
- Filed television reports for WMHT’s public affairs show, New York NOW, which airs on PBS stations statewide

- Filed radio spots and feature stories for New York State public stations
